Car for a Cause Lottery is operated by genU (ABN: 74 614 366 031) to raise funds for the delivery of genU’s services including disability support, senior services, allied health, employment social enterprises and training.

Assuming all tickets are sold; 1 ticket has a 1 in 35,000 chance of winning the Grand Prize.

The following people are prohibited from purchasing a ticket:

• genU Board members and their family members residing at the same address,
• Executive Managers and their family members residing at the same address,
• ticket fulfilment staff including employees associated with the lottery and their family members residing at the same address.
• People below 18 years of age.

Ticket purchasers cannot purchase a ticket under another name, or for a minor. There is no limit on how many tickets a participant may purchase.

genU Management reserves the right in its sole discretion to refuse a purchase from anyone not acting in genU’s best interest, without notice or explanation.

A valid ticket holder is eligible to participate in the Car for a Cause Lottery and win a prize in accordance with these terms and conditions. By purchasing a ticket online, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Winners are responsible for claiming their prize. Prizes awarded may not be exactly as advertised. All prize winners will be notified in writing and by phone. Where genU is unable to contact a winner or any prize remains unclaimed, the requirements of the applicable state legislation will be followed.

The total retail value of the prize pool is $35,000.

The maximum number of tickets in the draw is 35,000. All tickets are $5.

Refunds cannot be issued after the prize draws have begun. In accordance with Australian consumer law, genU is not obligated to provide a refund for any ‘change of heart’ decisions related to the purchase of a ticket.

The draw results and records held by genU shall be deemed correct and final. genU accepts no responsibility for any entries not received for any reason during the lottery period. No responsibility will be taken for lost, late or misdirected entries. All information contained in entries is the property of genU.

Overseas non-Australian citizens or residents must check in their own country that there are no restrictions on them purchasing a ticket in the draw.

EARLY BIRD PRIZE:

The Early Bird Prize winner will choose between a Holiday for two to Bali with 7 nights at Legian Beach Hotel with the Deluxe pool and breakfast included with flights and accommodation included valued at $5,000 or $5,000 cash. The Early Bird winner will be given 48 hours from the time of notification to make their decision.

If the Early Bird Winner chooses the Holiday for two to Bali, arrangements between the Prize Supplier and the Early Bird Prize winner will commence immediately. The holiday prize option does not include travel insurance, spending money or any other expenses unless otherwise stated and must be booked within 3 months.

If the Early Bird winner chooses to take the $5,000 cash, a bank deposit or bank cheque will be made out to the ticket name holder. This will be received within a maximum of 20 business days after an identification check has been completed and verified by a genU representative.

If the Early Bird winner(s) reside in Victoria or Queensland, they will have the option of selecting either the holiday for 2 to Bali valued at $5,000 or $5,000 in gold.

The Early Bird Prize winning ticket is also eligible for the Grand Prize Draw.

GRAND PRIZE:

The Grand Prize winner will have the option to accept a Morocco 14-day Collete tour with a Northern Morocco extension plus a 3 night luxury Doha stopover with a private desert and inland sea tour (valued at $30,000), or a Skoda Kamiq or $30,000 cash/gold. The Grand Prize winner will be given 48 hours from the time of notification to make their decision.

If the Grand Prize winner elects to take the Morocco 14-day Collete tour with a Northern Morocco extension plus a 3 night luxury Doha stopover with a private desert and inland sea tour (valued at $30,000), arrangements between the Prize Supplier and the Grand Prize winner will commence immediately. The holiday prize option does not include travel insurance, spending money or any other expenses unless otherwise stated and must be booked within 3 months. All services are subject to availability at the time of purchase and are based on costs for low-season economy travel for the chosen destination.

If the Grand Prize winner elects to take the Skoda Kamiq, arrangements between the Prize Supplier and the Grand Prize winner will commence immediately to order and arrange delivery of the prize. Delivery of the vehicle may take over 12 months, depending on stock availability. This prize includes all on-road costs, excluding motor vehicle insurance. The vehicle will be available for collection at an authorized dealership located in a major city within the Grand Prize winner’s state.

If the Grand Prize winner elects to take the $30,000 cash, a bank deposit or bank cheque will be made out to the ticket name holder. This will be received within a maximum of 20 business days after an identification check has been completed and verified by a genU representative.

If the Grand Prize winner(s) reside in Victoria or Queensland, they will have the option of selecting either Morocco 14-day Collete tour with a Northern Morocco extension plus a 3 night luxury Doha stopover with a private desert and inland sea tour, or a Skoda Kamiq or $30,000 in gold.

EARLY BIRD DRAW: Friday, 31 October 2025

Only tickets purchased before midnight AWST, Wednesday, 29 October 2025 are eligible for the Early Bird prize.  Each ticket purchased before the Early Bird sales close is also eligible to win the Grand Prize.

GRAND PRIZE DRAW: Friday, 19 December 2025

All tickets purchased before the final ticket sales close at midnight AWST, Wednesday, 17 December 2025 are eligible to win the Grand Prize.

Draws are conducted electronically. All winners will be published on carforacauselottery.com.au within 48 hours of all draws being completed.

Activ Club Weekly Prize Draws

The Activ Club Weekly Prize is a separate weekly draw that consists only of Activ Club Members with a valid monthly membership at the time of the draw.

Activ Club members in our monthly debit program will be in the draw to win $1,000 in cash in our weekly draws.
