- Is this a licensed and regulated lottery?

Yes, our lottery permit is issued by the Western Australian Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor. The permit holder is Michael van Oudtshoorn, Executive Manager Marketing, Fundraising and Events at Activ.

- Who runs the Activ Better Odds Lottery?

Activ Foundation run and manage all of our fundraising projects in-house, including the Activ Better Odds Lottery and Activ Car for a Cause Lottery.
- How old do I need to be to buy tickets?

You must be 18 or older to purchase a ticket. Tickets cannot be purchased in the name of a minor.
PAYMENT
- How will my payment appear on my bank statement?

Your ticket purchase will be listed as Activ Foundation on your credit card statement.
- How do I know my payment details are secure and private?

Activ have a privacy policy which can be reviewed at https://www.activ.asn.au/privacy/. All credit card details are secure using end to end encryption. Activ does not sell or share any personal data with any other third parties.
- How can I get a refund?

Requests for ticket refunds will need written approval from the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor and this process may take several weeks. Refunds cannot be issued after the prize draws have begun.
- Can I be an anonymous winner?

It is a condition of entry that prize winners agree to have their name, suburb and photo published for publicity purposes. We include this condition to ensure high levels of transparency and trust.
- When will the prize draws take place?

Final Grand Prize Draw: 28 June 2024
Activ Club Draws: Winners will be drawn weekly between 12th April 2024 – 28th June 2024 for the current lottery.

- Where will the prize draws take place?

The prize draws will take place at Activ Foundation Head Office in Wembley.
- How will I know if I’ve won a prize?

Activ will call and email all prize winners directly.
- When will the winners be published online?

Prize winners will be published on carforacauselottery.com.au within 48 hours after all remaining prize draws have been completed.
- Where do the proceeds go?

- Are lottery tickets tax deductible?

No, current ATO guidelines do not allow for charitable lottery tickets to be claimed as a tax deduction.
